In film location work, occasionally the dialogue must be replaced by a process called Automated Dialogue Replacement.  This involves bringing the actor to a recording studio, playing the video segment for them, and having them speak their dialogue in sync with the video.

 

In the production of "Shoothorses", such ADR was required to salvage interviews of the cast.  I performed the recording and sync work, as well as post-production audio to generate effective environmental sounds for the sequence.
