Le Coq d'Or
by Rimsky-Korsakov
This classic opera by Rimsky-Korsakov tells of a boastful king who receives a gift of a golden cockerel from a mysterious wizard. The golden cockerel ultimately proves his downfall in a tale of mystery and magic. A comedic opera, the set design and costumes provided a fun palate to play upon with lighting.
