Hänsel und Gretel
by Engelbert Humperdink
The familiar tale of two curious children who become lost in the woods and discover a gingerbread cottage is given musical life in this nineteenth-century opera. The scenic designer created lavish forest trees and a stunning cottage, providing me with numerous opportunities for creative and magical lighting.
